During a 2018 residency in, Spain, I was provided with a workspace filled with an astonishing collection of tools and hardware. These numerous objects of utility lived on as memories or embodiments of the people who had handled them and the work they had performed. Now sorted and thrown into labelled drawers, boxes and cabinets, they jostled together like family members, residing together, each at their designated addresses.
